SOPREMA Awards Scholarships to Three University of Waterloo School of Architecture Graduates

Drummondville, June 21, 2018 – On Wednesday, June 20th, graduates of the University of Waterloo School of Architecture in Ontario held a banquet and a ceremony. As part of the event, which showcased the exceptional talent of these students, several scholarships were awarded, including SOPREMA’s Leaders of Tomorrow Award.

SOPREMA’s $2,250 contribution rewarded three students who distinguished themselves with their technical understanding of the building envelope and their considerable design skills. Jessica Lam came in third place with her project MLC Media Learning Centre. Amirhesam Monshi won second place with A Place for War Refugees (Peace of Land). And the big winner of the $1,000 scholarship was Laila Abdalla with The Zone Community Centre for New Canadians.
