Support to Universities
SOPREMA supports several universities and research centres in their major development projects. Our most recent initiative is one surrounding the construction of the UQTR campus in Drummondville (QC), to which we have donated $1M.

Since its establishment in Canada in 1978, SOPREMA has actively supported the community in a variety of ways to contribute to its social and economic vitality.

Support to Mindful Materials
We always encourage our teams to develop and diversify sustainable solutions to contribute to the evolution of the building industry. With that in mind, it made sense for SOPREMA to sign the Manufacturer Materials Commitment supported by mindful MATERIALS.
Student Scholarships
We are proud to contribute to the future of the next generation by awarding Leaders of Tomorrow scholarships to architecture students from different Canadian provinces. Our choice to be involved in education is embodied in this scholarship, but also in our participation in conferences involving students throughout their school path.

EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEERING
Many employees across Canada are involved in their communities, whether by serving Christmas lunch to families in need, organizing a golf tournament for the benefit of a palliative care home, or collecting food for the needy.
Trainees
In order to help in the training of the new generation, each year SOPREMA hires about twenty trainees from various professional backgrounds, including human resources, engineering, research and development, administration, marketing, and IT.
