In May 2020, SOPREMA completed the construction of its brand-new waterproofing product manufacturing plant in Woodstock, Ontario. With an area of 10,015 m2, the building was designed to meet the requirements of LEED v4 certification. It is actually one of the few industrial buildings to have obtained this certification in Canada.
From the start, the members of the work team—made up of SOPREMA, Lemay, and Pomerleau—had to join forces and align their visions to achieve the requirements of LEED v4 certification, the most recent version at the time.

- Optimized natural lighting with windows
- 100% of offices have a view of the landscaped areas

- 12% reduction in carbon impact compared to a similar building (507 t. of CO2 eq. avoided, which corresponds to around 107 cars per year)
