*The recycled content varies according to the compression range. The global recycled content is made of one part of post-consumer and pre-consumer content validated by CT Consultant, and another part which accounts for the manufacturing recovery value. OUR SOPRA-XPS IS GREENGUARD GOLD CERTIFIED
GREENGUARD Gold certification includes very strict selection criteria and considers the most demanding safety factors for volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. These requirements also include some sensitive groups of people (such as children and the elderly), and they ensure that a product is acceptable in high-risk environments, such as schools and healthcare facilities.
WHAT MAKES SOPRA-XPS UNIQUE
Thanks to the density of their closed-cell composition, SOPRA-XPS panels have exceptional resistance to water and water vapour and they prevent voids in the insulation. This prevents any uncontrolled movement of air through the assemblies.

In addition to being resistant to water and water vapour, SOPRA-XPS panels are versatile and capable of withstanding extreme temperature changes and freeze-thaw cycles without permanent damage. Moreover, even when exposed to moisture, SOPRA-XPS resists mould and bacteria.

Moreover, they provide one of the highest compressive strengths on the market, whether against heavy or dynamic loads.
CONSTANT PERFORMANCE
SOPRA-XPS panels are compliant with the CAN ULC S701.1 standard thanks to the following four features: good compressive strength, high R-value (R-5/inch), dimensional stability and very low water absorption. Moreover, they provide a constant long-term R-value (LTTR) of R-5 per inch, even at low temperatures. They maintain their thermal and mechanical performance throughout the life of the building.

SOPRA-XPS 20
SOPRA-XPS 20 panels with shiplap edges are designed for the insulation of above-grade exterior walls.
SOPRA-XPS 20 panels with grooved edges are perfect for the insulation of above-grade exterior walls and on the inside of foundation walls. The grooved edges are specially designed to accommodate 1 × 3 inch wood furring.
SOPRA-XPS 25 CW
Perfect for cavity wall insulation. Thanks to their practical dimensions, they fit perfectly between the rows of wall ties.
SOPRA-XPS 30
Designed for the insulation of exterior foundation walls and under foundation slabs.
SOPRA-XPS 35
Ideal for the insulation of new or refurbished inverted roofs to improve their thermal resistance.
SOPRA-XPS 40, 60 et 100
Designed for heavy-duty applications requiring high-density insulation. Their applications include inverted roofs, such as green roofs and plaza decks. They can also be used under foundation slabs that support dead or very heavy live loads.
