Versatile and Diverse

The membranes can be mechanically fastened or adhered with adhesive and are available in several versions: with a smooth underface or laminated to a polypropylene needle felt, with non-woven polyester or fibreglass diagonal reinforcement, in thicknesses of 60 mils and 80 mils.

Weather Resistant

They are designed to provide minimum and non-nominal tolerances, i.e. a minimum total thickness of 60 mils, and 30 mils above the reinforcement for a 60 mils membrane.

No Recycled PVC Content

The top and bottom layers of the membrane contain no recycled PVC from external sources, which extends their service life and allows for unparalleled weldability at the most critical joints, such as overlaps.

Eco-Friendly

They meet the requirements of the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) for white reflective membranes that promote cooling in buildings, and reduce both energy consumption and the urban heat island effect.

SENTINEL P membranes are strengthened with a high-performance capillary-resistant polyester reinforcement designed to provide superior tear resistance as well as unparalleled long-term performance.

Thanks to their superior tear resistance, SENTINEL P membranes are not only ideal for roofs with mechanical fastening systems, but they also offer exceptional dimensional stability to adhered systems.

THE SENTINEL DIFFERENCE

Unparalleled Durability

SENTINEL membranes have a minimum thickness of 60 mils with at least 30 mils above the reinforcement to provide a compound that is much more weather resistant than competitive brands. The top and bottom layers contain no recycled PVC, to ensure long-term performance without any compromise.

Superior Performance

The polyester thread with enhanced density provides superior tear and puncture resilience, while the insertion of a weft prevents breakage and tears from getting worse. Competitors offer products with fibreglass threads with lower tensile strength properties, which increase the risk of membrane rupture and tear. The polyester thread of the SENTINEL P membrane resists capillarity action and thus promotes weld conditions, in addition to eliminating the need for sealing joints and improving the performance and integrity of the roof system’s waterproofing.

The roof of a section of this Sudbury hospital needed a facelift since the 1990s.
