The COLPHENE LM 3500 membrane is a 100% pure polyurea-based resin, specially designed for waterproofing foundations and other applications, such as retention basins. Its pure formulation offers superior mechanical and chemical resistance, as well as better moisture tolerance, reducing the risk of pinholes and blisters, even with a low thickness and without primer.
For maximum performance, the surface must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Application is achieved by spraying at a thickness of 1.5 mm to 2 mm (60 mils to 80 mils) directly onto green concrete (3 to 7 days) or onto SOPRA-SPF, without primer.
Although the service life depends on the preparation of the substrate, the application method and the surrounding conditions, COLPHENE LM 3500 retains its properties as long as the first backfill remains in place. SOPREMA offers a five-year material warranty, which is extendable to 10 years when adding SOPREMA drainage panels.
COLPHENE LM 3500 offers improved moisture resistance, reduces surface defects, does not require priming and covers up to 2,810 sq. ft. per kit at a 60 mil application thickness, which optimizes the cost per square foot. Its slightly slower reaction time makes it easier to apply, even on uneven surfaces, while ensuring long-lasting performance.
