SOPREMA Improves Acoustics at the Ministry of National Education’s LAB in Paris

As part of its commitment to improve the acoustic comfort of its establishments, the Ministry of National Education in Paris has chosen SOPREMA’s TECSOUND line to meet several specific challenges. The project aimed primarily to reduce acoustic reverberation, a source of excess noise that is disruptive to well-being and concentration in workspaces.

The installation had to preserve the ceiling height, an essential element for maintaining architectural integrity and enhancing the space. The solutions implemented had to be carried out without structural modifications to ensure the continuity of activities and respect the architectural heritage of the buildings.

Thanks to the installation of BABs (Beautiful Absorbing Balls) and PUREKUSTIK panels, SOPREMA was able to optimize the building’s acoustic comfort, ensuring better sound absorption and a more harmonious environment. In the Ministry’s LAB, the following innovative solutions from the new TECSOUND line were installed, combining design and performance to transform the spaces:

• Suspended BAB acoustic globes for a strong visual impact: Stylish and functional, the TECSOUND BAB acoustic globes suspended from the ceiling combine aesthetics and efficiency. Their absorbent foam core reduces reverberation and significantly improves acoustic comfort. With 20 colours and 4 sizes available, they bring a unique decorative touch, adapting to all decors while improving the sound quality of spaces.
• Sound absorption panels: Enhancing both common spaces and individual work areas, the TECSOUND PUREKUSTIK acoustic panels stand out for their stylish and modular design. They can be arranged in aesthetically pleasing configurations on walls and ceilings, all while optimizing interior acoustics.

• Effective reduction of sound resonance, creating a more peaceful environment.
• Spaces optimized for concentration and collaboration.
• A modern and elegant design, enhancing the identity of the place.

Thanks to SOPREMA’s expertise, the benefits are immediate and tangible. Sound resonance has been effectively reduced, providing a quieter environment conducive to the well-being of occupants.
