Suspended Soundproofing Globes
TECSOUND BABs (Beautiful Absorbing Balls) are globes that attach to ceilings, combining acoustic efficiency with attention to design. Thanks to their absorbent foam core, they capture reverberations, thus enhancing ambient sound comfort. With 20 colours and 4 sizes to choose from, these suspended globes add an aesthetic touch to any design project while playing a key role in improving the acoustic quality of spaces.

TECSOUND SOPRAKUSTIK
Acoustic Panels
Made from open-cell melamine foam, TECSOUND SOPRAKUSTIK acoustic panels are lightweight, flexible and highly sound absorbing, and can be easily installed on walls or ceilings.
They are available in three standard models in the same format: 600 mm × 600 mm (24 in × 24 in) (thickness: 50 mm [2 in]) Other formats, dimensions and thicknesses are available upon request.
TECSOUND PUREKUSTIK
Acoustic Panels and Discs
Made from recycled synthetic fibres, TECSOUND PUREKUSTIK panels and discs offer excellent moisture resistance. Their modular format and high-quality finish make them ideal for creative designs on ceilings or walls.
Rectangle: 600 mm × 1,200 mm (24 in × 48 in)
Round disc:
- 800 mm (32 in)
- 1,000 mm (39 in)
- 1,200 mm (48 in)
The standard available colours are grey, white, and black for both rectangular panels and acoustic discs.

The TECSOUND line’s acoustic design products undergo rigorous fire classification tests to ensure compliance with current standards, such as ASTM E84 and CAN/ULC-S102. These tests evaluate flame spread and smoke generation, essential evaluation criteria for commercial, institutional and residential projects.

The NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) rating is an index that measures a material’s ability to absorb sound rather than reflect it. Calculated on key frequencies between 250 Hz and 2,000 Hz, this rating is expressed on a scale from 0.00 (no absorption, sound is completely reflected) to 1.00 (almost total absorption).
In practice, the higher the NRC, the more the material helps reduce reverberation and improves the clarity of communication in a given space. For settings like offices, meeting rooms or educational spaces, it is recommended to use materials with an NRC of 0.75 or higher.
