Roofing/Insulating panels
COLGRIP
COLGRIP A insulation is a polyisocyanurate plastic foam inserted between two layers of specially formulated fibreglass. Inorganic and homogeneous, these layers possess excellent dimensional stability. Once installation is complete, the link between the base sheet and the insulation cannot be broken. The result is a technically superior roofing system, which does not require the installation of intermediary organic panels. COLGRIP A is specially designed for semi-adhered application of the ventilated membrane COLVENT.
COLGRIP B is also a polyisocyanurate plastic foam inserted between two facers. One side is perforated to enable hot bitumen application; the other side is non-perforated for use in single-ply systems. No other type of insulation offers as much benefit. COLGRIP B couples easy installation with remarkable service life, whatever your roofing requirements.
XPRESS SOLUTIONS
Be ahead of
your time.
XPRESS BOARD panels couldn’t have a better name. With one panel, you can carry out multiple applications in less time than you thought possible. Use them as vapour barriers, insulation, support or recovery panels and finish your roof waterproofing project in few stages and with less labour. XPRESS BOARD panels consist of a sanded or thermofusible film covered base sheet that is factory-laminated to mineral wool fibre insulation available in thicknesses of 12.5 mm (1/2 in.) to 125 mm (5 in.).
When XPRESS panels are used as insulation, a roof can be completed in only three stages:
- Installation of the vapour barrier
- Installation of the XPRESS BOARD panel, XPRESS EPS or XPRESS ISO
- Installation of the cap sheet.

XPRESS insulation panels offer the best price-quality ratio on the market and have properties and benefits no other insulating panel possesses. In terms of durability, XPRESS insulation solutions are unbeatable. The panels resist moisture, do not retain water, and maintain their stability and thermal value over time.
To ensure waterproofing against leakage, the transversal joints of XPRESS BOARD panels must be sealed with SOPRALAP covering band, offered in self-adhesive or thermofusible versions.
SOPRAROCK
Would you like to find an insulation or support panel that is not only dimensionally stable, but non-biodegradable and highly fire-resistant as well?
SOPRAROCK does all that with its mineral wool board. A natural substance, stone fibre is a by-product of volcanic activity. Through the manufacturing process, the rock’s strength is augmented with the characteristics of insulation wool.
- Excellent resistance to fire
- Dimensional stability
- Water repellent
- Stable R value
- Made with recycled materials
- Sound absorbing
SOPRAROCK DD is a mineral wool insulation board with a rigid top surface for durability and enhanced strength. SOPRAROCK DD must be mechanically fastened only.
SOPRAROCK DD PLUS is a mineral wool insulation board with a rigid top layer for durability and enhanced strength. SOPRAROCK DD PLUS is impregnated with a bitumen layer which is compatible with SOPREMA’s torch or mop applied membranes. SOPRAROCK DD PLUS must be mechanically fastened or adhered with hot bitumen only.

DUO SELVEDGE
For safe installation, the XPRESS BOARD panel is provided with DUO SELVEDGE, a unique technology patented by SOPREMA. The first 50 mm (2 in.) of DUO SELVEDGE are self-adhesive, which protects the components under the base sheet, when the remaining 25 mm (1 in.) of the selvedge is heat-welded or sealed with a hot air gun.
SOPREMA offers three XPRESS insulation solutions that are unique:
XPRESS BOARD
Base sheet factory-laminated to mineral wool fibre insulation. |
|
XPRESS EPS
XPRESS BOARD panel with 1.25 cm (1/2 in.) of mineral wool fibre insulation, factory-laminated to an EPS insulation panel. |
|
XPRESS ISO
XPRESS BOARD panel with 1.25 cm (1/2 in.) of mineral wool fibre insulation, factory-laminated to a polyisocyanurate insulation panel, offering the same properties as the COLGRIP B insulation panel. |
