Vapour barrier
SOPRAVAP’R
SOPRAVAP’R is a self-adhesive vapour barrier membrane ideal for cold-installed systems. It can be applied to all types of prepared surfaces with the primer ELASTOCOL STICK or ELASTOCOL STICK H2O. However, it is specially suited to metal roof decks since its width of 1.14 m matches the upper flutes perfectly.
SOPRAVAP’R is self-sealing, anti-skid and has excellent resistance properties to traction and puncture. Workers can move freely and safely on the roof during work, without damaging the vapour barrier.
SOPRASTOP
The SOPRASTOP products are entry-level, economical Kraft paper vapour barrier solutions. SOPRASTOP adhesive, made from rapid-evaporation solvents, bitumen and SBS polymers, is used to fasten SOPRASTOP vapour barrier to steel roof decks and to seal joints at the roll ends. Its unique formulation provides excellent adhesive strength and ensures rapid setting. SOPRASTOP is also used to fasten various other building materials, such as gypsum, concrete and wood.
As for SOPRASTOP vapour barrier paper, it is offered in rolls of 2.44 m x 39 m (95.13 m²) or 8 ft. x 128 ft. (1024 ft²).
Roof underlayments
LASTOBOND
LASTOBOND roof underlayment membranes are often used on residential building roofs and under metallic siding materials to ensure waterproofing of high risk areas. SOPREMA has designed a complete line of self-adhesive waterproofing membranes offering unique performance.
LASTOBOND 195 et 240
LASTOBOND 195 and 240 are entry-level membranes offered at competitive prices. They are made from SBS modified self-adhesive bitumen, a glass mat reinforcement and have a sanded surface. The LASTOBOND 195 membrane is 91 cm (36 in.) wide, and the LASTOBOND 240 membrane is 112 cm (45 in.) wide.
LASTOBOND SHIELD
The LASTOBOND SHIELD self-adhesive roof underlayment offers long service with its highly flexible and self-sealing formulation. The membrane surface is covered with a triple-layer of anti-slip, polyethylene woven complex for easy installation. The LASTOBOND SHIELD membrane is also offered in widths of 91 or 112 cm (36 or 45 in.)
LASTOBOND SHIELD HT
Besides offering all the benefits of the LASTOBOND SHIELD membrane, LASTOBOND SHIELD HT resists temperatures as high as 110°C (230°F). LASTOBOND SHIELD HT is the perfect solution to ensure roof waterproofing under metal decks like those on a church roof, since its bituminous mass can resist the heat conducted by the metal.
