Its long-standing with registration to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards as well as its recent commitment to the EN 16001 process are two concrete examples.

SAFETY
The health and safety of every employee is of prime importance. Soprema incorporates a pro-active approach to build a health and safety program to meet or exceed all Workers Compensation Board of British Columbia requirements. This pro-active approach has the objective to reduce the risk that employees become ill or injured as a result of their employment and includes a modified duties back-to-work program.

OPENESS
A free exchange of information between all employees and the company is a necessity.  All employees are encouraged to ask questions and to candidly communicate suggestions and opinions.  In return, leadership is committed to consider their input and to keep employees informed of plant progress, market conditions and future plans.

The Chilliwack Team works to continuously improve its waste reduction program, streamline its use of natural resources, and optimize its emissions recycling systems. While complying with all relevant laws and regulations, Soprema Chilliwack’s programs result in an Environmental Management System that meets or exceeds ISO 14001 requirements.  

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
