Export Representative – Business Development (Asia)

The candidate will work in collaboration with the Business Development Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop business in Asia (i.e.: Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, India);
  • Establish a sales structure in specific Asian nations;
  • Meet with local players who can help develop Soprema’s presence in these markets (architects, specifiers, consulting engineers , construction companies, waterproofers, roofing specialists, etc.);
  • Make Soprema product and system presentations to these various players in the construction sector;
  • Visit construction sites;
  • Participate in trade fairs;
  • Assist the Business Development Manager in parallel, related projects.

Duration: Permanent, full time

Skills:
  • Bilingualism (English, Français) at minimum;
  • Good technical knowledge in the construction sector;
  • University diploma in Engineering, Administration or in a domain related to market development;
  • Valid passport;
  • Ability to adapt;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Vision;
  • Leadership;
  • Related experience is a plus.

Other Work Conditions:

 

The position is located at the company’s Canadian head office in Drummondville and will require frequent travel to Asia.
