Celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2008, Soprema Chilliwack is one of British Columbia's most automated production sites. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to fill this full-time, permanent position.

Skills:
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate from a recognized institution in any one of the following fields:
- Electro/Mechanical maintenance -OR-
- Automation -OR-
- Robotics.
The successful candidate will possess a creative, open mind, along with excelllent communication & organizational skills. The ability to trouble-shoot and the potential to maintain highly-automated PLC controlled equipment are also important attributes. Soprema will offer further training to the right candidate. The position requires participation in production, working with other maintenance team members to perform routine maintenance as well as PLC responsibilties. Preventive maintenance inspection and keeping of a daily log-book is required. Shift work (with shift premium) is required. Salary commensurate with experience.
